Due to shielding I was becoming very isolated, lack of physical activity and putting weight on, which made me become very anxious about the future.

As I have health issues as well this situation made them worse, so I reached out on staff zone and referred myself to lifestyle service.

I was referred to Amanda, well being coach and have engaged with her weekly on microsoft teams and regular Emails supporting me. I commenced this service on the 11th February, since this date I have lost nearly 2 stone in weight, increased my physical activity significantly and engaged in weekly exercise programme with Amanda.

I want to reduce my BMI significantly which will in turn improve my physical health and I am on the way to doing this.

I would advise anybody to access this service which also links to other services available of which I am not sure will transfer to GMMH.

All available on staff zone and I reccomend a peruse if you hav never heard of it. There are yoga sessions and psychological sessions all available. All can be individually tailored to your needs.
