Hi everyone
My name is Amanda Devereux and I’m from Liverpool. I’m a very sociable and confident person who loves new challenges and enjoys meeting new people.
I am a qualified personal trainer who specialises in GP referrals, ante and postnatal exercise and I’m also qualified in teaching older adults exercise. I have recently completed a meditation course, which I can use to support people with stressful lives.
I am looking forward to helping to motivate and support you in achieving your health and fitness goals. I have lots of life experience from bereavement to divorce and raising two children as a single mum. I feel I can support with empathy as I have lived through challenging and stressful events.
I have my own self-care plan to maintain strong mental health, in addition to looking after my physical health which I’m happy to share if anyone would like some tips.
I’m really looking forward to meeting you all, so please feel free to drop me a line even if it’s just for a chat, as I love to talk and I’m a great listener.
Amanda
Hello I'm Danny Sculthorpe,
I've recently joined the Trust as a wellbeing and lifestyle coach. I'm delighted to be given this roll, as wellbeing and mental health is really Important to me. I was a professional rugby league player for 13 years but had to retire early through a serious spinal injury.
Unfortunately, I then suffered with depression because I felt like I had lost my identity. I'm now happier than I've ever been and loving life. I'm hardworking, honest, trustworthy and pretty laid back with lots of friends and an amazing family, wife Natalie, daughters Ellie and Isla and son Louie.
If you want a chat or any help with your diet, exercise or general wellbeing I'm just an email away.
Thanks Danny.
Hi to you all, my name is Phil Veivers,
Originally from Australia, I have had a long career in playing and coaching Rugby League. Predominantly playing with St Helens and coaching at various clubs. Married with four children (three boys and a girl), I also have a dog, cat and chickens, I'm from the bush in Australia if you want to know why.
I am very outgoing and easy to talk to and enjoy social activities. Over the last seven years I have done a lot of work in raising mental health awareness through the charity State of Mind Sport, which I find very rewarding and am very passionate about for two reasons: One being that I suffered with it myself and the other reason is I lost someone to mental health problems.
I'm really looking forward to meeting and helping people with their wellness and lifestyle, whilst working here at the Trust as a lifestyle and wellbeing coach.
Phil.
