The smokefree policy applies to all Service Users, carers, visitors, employees and subcontractors in order to:

•Support and promote the culture of a smokefree trust

•Improve and protect the health of service users, visitors, contractors and staff

•Inform staff and managers of their responsibilities in respect of the policy

•Provide guidance to staff

•Ensure staff are aware of the smokefree training requirements

Smokefree procedure

The Smokefree Procedure provides a practical reference guide for staff to assist with managing the organisational Smokefree policy.

Please note: This should be read in conjunction with the Smokefree policy.

Revisions and additions will be made at regular intervals to ensure this is an up to date working document.
