As you may already be aware, The Trust is signed up to a scheme called The Work Perk where we receive items/products for us to distribute to staff. This is an on-going scheme, with products being received as and when the Trust are selected for campaigns. This time, we have been allocated CIF Spray samples, which we have carefully planned the most equitable way for them to be distributed.

We are mindful that many corporate colleagues are currently working from home. However, to ensure that those who are onsite or come onsite don’t get missed out, we currently have an allocation of CIF sprays to collect for you and your teams from Occupational Health Reception at Hollins Park House.

The following work perk guidance will apply:

·       Staff members should receive one sample ONLY

·       The samples are to be kept in one location and are to be distributed fairly by collection only. (NOT to be left in communal areas)

·       They should be distributed within a week of receiving them.

Unfortunately there are not enough samples to provide one per employee and we will not be receiving any more CIF Samples when we are out of stock.

The World Health Organization have advised that “The likelihood of an infected person contaminating commercial goods is low and the risk of catching the virus that causes COVID-19 from a package that has been moved, travelled, and exposed to different conditions and temperature is also low.” You can find the latest information on COVID-19 on the information pages of the UK Government. Nevertheless, we would advise that when collecting chocolate samples, that social distancing measures are to be adhered to. All staff must wear clinical face masks and use hand sanitiser or gloves.

If you would like our trust to keep receiving these treats then share your feedback and photographs on twitter and tag the NWBH twitter account along with @TheWorkPerk
