An alert notice is a way for an NHS employer to make other bodies aware that a healthcare professional may pose a threat to service users or staff to reduce the risk of the healthcare professional securing inappropriate employment in any capacity elsewhere in a health or social care setting. 

Once you have moved your successful candidate to 'offer' on Trac, your resourcing assistant dealing with your vacancy will check the alert notice list to ensure your prospective employee has not been issued with an alert.
