• Don't guess. If you don't know, explain who you would need to ask for the information you're being asked to provide.
  • Don't share log-in details with an inspector or log them into systems.
  • Don't let inspectors remove files or documents. Patient files may be viewed by inspectors but should not be removed from where they are needed(only a lead inspector has the authority to remove patient records). Other documents should be requested through the Trust's CQC project team so we can keep track of what has been given.
