What it means to be nominated
John Chiocchi, Peer Support Worker – Frank Hanily Quality Services Star 2019 finalist
‘I felt really proud and privileged to be nominated by one of my colleagues, and felt quite humbled when I saw the video at the awards ceremony and what my nominator said about me. Even though I did not win I was very proud to be recognised’.
Louise Bell, Medical Secretary – Support Star 2019 finalist
‘It felt great being nominated for an ‘Our Stars’ award. I work with an amazing team, and to be nominated as a Support Star showed me how appreciated and thought of I am within the team. It is lovely recognition for the work I do. The evening itself was enjoyable and fun, during which my guests continued to support me’.
