The purpose of the Practice Education Facilitator (PEF) role is to:
- Manage the capability and capacity of clinical placements within the organisation
- Monitor and maintain the clinical learning environments within a quality assurance framework
- Develop staff to ensure they meet the professional regulator body education standards
- Provide expert, advice, guidance on an individual basis when required for both practitioners and student
