Paul's husband David has shared the details of his funeral and would love Paul's friends and colleagues to pay their respects.

The funeral will take place as follows:

  • Tuesday 3 November
  • 3.30pm
  • St Helens crematorium (limited to 20 people, so family and invited people only to attend inside)

If you would like to pay your respects to Paul, there a number of options:

Peasley Cross staff

Paul's funeral cortege will pass Peasley Cross at 3pm on route to the crematorium. Those already on site are being asked by David to stand outside from 2.50pm and clap as loudly as possible to celebrate Paul as he passes.

In order to keep everyone safe, those taking part must maintain social distancing and wear a surgical face mask at all times.

In these difficult times, we also need to remind you that St Helens is currently on a very alert level so please be mindful of these restrictions and keep yourselves safe.

Individual reflection

Given the current restrictions in place in St Helens and our other boroughs, we would ask that those not already on site at Peasley Cross consider other ways to remember and honour Paul. This might be through a minute's silence.

Live link to the service

Book of condolence

Please also remember you can send a message to be included in our wall of remembrance which will later be converted into a book for David. Please send your messages, stories, photos, memories and condolences to: communications@nwbh.nhs.uk
