Building on the success of using the MySupervision system to record clinical supervision during 2019/20, we have now developed the system further to enable the recording of all line management supervisions and one-to-ones.
The new upgraded functionality is now live and can be accessed by all staff, including those in non-clinical roles.
What do I need to do?
From now onwards, any line management supervision you carry out should be recorded on the MySupervision system, to confirm this has taken place and capture any discussion points or actions. It is the line manager's responsibility to record the session on MySupervision.
The expectation is that all staff should have a line management supervision session or one-to-one at least once every two months, and that this is recorded by their supervisor/line manager on MySupervision.
It's important that you have a supervision contract in place and that you use the template provided. There is a Trust template that can be used to record the supervision session. This can be completed and uploaded to the system. You can use an alternative template, as long as the core topics are discussed and recorded.
How do I access the system?
The system is easy-to-use and can be accessed simply by clicking the MySupervision icon on your desktop or by clicking the button below:
When you open MySupervision, a short video will play to guide you through the system.
Once logged in, you can view previous supervisions you have recorded and record new supervision sessions.
We have produced a series of frequently asked questions to help you use the system, which you can view here. However if you have any unanswered questions or issues using the system, please email: mysupervision@nwbh.nhs.uk
