What is the pathway?
The IT Skills Pathway provides access to training that you can customise that suits you. The skills pathway includes the main Microsoft Office products, from basic through to advanced skills.
How do we use it?
We use it via a supplied learning tracking system. You can then create your own customised versions of the courses and also create skills tests and other assessments. Learners then access the learning portal online, self-enrol and choose from a library of courses.
Why use it?

Where can it be accessed?
Anywhere as long as you have an internet connection.
When can it be accessed?
24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year at home or at work. IT Skills Pathway also has a help desk available during normal office hours.
Who is it for?
Any staff that need better IT skills for their current or future job role.

How do I enrol?
Firstly register for an account. The centre manager will need to approve your registration; once this is complete you can then enrol on your chosen course(s). Follow this guidance to assist you enrolling on your course.

Technical Issues
Should you have any technical difficulties at work, call 0151 430 1172 and ask them to check the technical specification document in line with your PC set up.
If you wish to undertake learning at home, you will need a web browser installed on your computer (we recommend Internet Explorer) with the latest version of the Adobe Shockwave Player plugin installed. As all of our products are web-based you will not require the Microsoft Office software to be installed.
