All staff engagement sessions

Engagement sessions for all staff are being led by Mersey Care executives this week. They focus on the strategic vision for the new Trust; Mersey Care’s aspiration for a Restorative Just and Learning Culture; and a future joint collaboration between all staff from both trusts to define the values and behaviours that will guide how we work.

The final session is on Friday 23 April, 12noon-1.30pm. This is the link to join.

Corporate staff sessions

Corporate staff are invited to an engagement session led by your new Mersey Care executive director, alongside your Mersey Care corporate colleagues.

You should have received an invitation to the relevant session. If you are within a corporate team and haven’t received an invitation, details are on StaffZone.

Sessions for clinical leaders

All clinical leaders at band 8a and above across our Trust and Mersey Care are invited to attend an engagement session led by Trish Bennett, Executive Director of Nursing and Operations at Mersey Care.

The session will focus on Mersey Care’s Clinical Strategy and there will be an opportunity for you to ask questions and connect with each other.

There are two dates available. You only need to attend one of the sessions.

  • Wednesday 5 May, 12noon-1.30pm
  • Tuesday 11 May, 10-11.30am

Culture survey

Tomorrow is the deadline for responses to the culture survey to support the transfer of staff and services.

The survey aims to understand any differences in ways of working between our Trust and Mersey Care and involves gauging staff opinion, feelings and expectations, as well as management processes, through surveys and interviews.

Please be completely honest to give a true picture of our Trust.

Explaining the transfer to patients, families and carers

We have produced a short animation to help explain the transfer of services to Mersey Care in a clear and straightforward way. It also aims to reassure patients and their families and carers that there will be no change to their care.

Changes to procurement processes

The Procurement Team is sending detailed updates directly to SBS users in the run-up to 1 June. These outline changes and actions needed in relation to requisitioning, ordering and receipting.
