Due to severe cold weather hitting the UK, the Met Office have issued a Level two alert. There is a 70per cent probability of severe cold weather/icy conditions between 1am on Thursday 24 December 2020 and 11pm on Friday 25 December 2020 in North West England.
On receipt of a Met Office Level 2 Cold weather alert, all staff need to ensure that they review and action the attached severe weather action card. Further information is also available on the severe weather planning page on StaffZone, which includes the severe weather procedure
