Thank you to everyone who has already had the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine to protect yourself, your loved ones and our patients.
To date, 73 per cent of staff have received their first dose, with second doses starting to be given week beginning 15 March.
Below is data breaking down which staff groups have so far accessed the vaccine.
This shows a very strong uptake by our doctors, nurses and allied health professionals which is great.
In terms of age, we have a lower uptake in those aged under 30 than other age groups.
We can also see that only 58 per cent of our black and minority ethnic staff have had the vaccine, compared with 74 per cent of white staff.
While it is your choice whether you have the Covid-19 vaccine, we’re encouraging as many of you as possible to take up the opportunity to protect yourself and others from this dangerous virus.
If you would like to have the vaccine, appointments are available at our vaccination centre at Hollins Park. You can book your appointment online.
Please note, while we’re able to attend wards to vaccinate our inpatients, unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to carry out on-site vaccination clinics for staff.
Full details about the vaccine, booking process, what to expect at the appointment and helpful FAQs are on StaffZone.
