Covid-19 vaccine appointments can now be booked at our Hollins Park vaccination centre by anyone within one of the four top priority groups as identified by the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI):
- Residents in a care home for older adults and their carers
- Those 80 years of age and over / frontline health and social care workers
- Those 75 years of age and over
- Those 70 years of age and over / clinically extremely vulnerable (shielding) individuals of any age
In line with government guidance, we are unable to offer appointments to anyone who does not fit within these four categories.
We are working with our local clinical commissioning groups to share our booking link with local people who meet the criteria.
In addition, if you know anyone in the above groups who needs an appointment, you can either forward the booking link so they can book a slot or you can book for them. You will need their NHS number to book and they will need to bring this with them to the appointment.
Appointments are available between 7am and 7pm, Monday to Friday, and must be booked online. People cannot just turn up.
Ideally, people should attend their appointment alone. If there is a clinical need for someone to be accompanied by a carer, this will be restricted to one person to help manage social distancing within the vaccination centre.
Each slot is 10 minutes, but the whole process (including pre-checks, paperwork and aftercare) is expected to take between 30 and 45 minutes. All appointments are at the Gail Briers Education Centre at Hollins Park in Warrington.
Full details about the vaccine, booking process, what to expect at the appointment and FAQs are on StaffZone.
Thank you for respecting our processes and for your patience while we prioritise vulnerable groups.
