We have a number of clinical pathways specific to working with adults with a learning disability that have been developed and are recommended by the PRG4LD for use across the Trust. Others are currently in development and/or being reformatted to follow a Standard Operating Procedure structure. Behaviours of Concern Pathway Sarah Wastell

This provides clear guidance for the classification, assessment, and provision of CLDT support when an adult presents with behaviours that cause concern that aren't accountable purely to issues of deteriorating mental health presentation.

Dementia in adults with a learning disability  Shalini Gladston Assessment of dementia in adults with a learning disability can be complicated by a range of factors, such that guidance is provided to support differential diagnoses and additional areas to consider in this assessment area as a prelude to pursuit of a diagnosis of dementia.

Dysphagia is a common difficulty for people with a learning disability and can have a significant effect on a person's health and well being if not managed appropriately. 

This pathway provides clear guidance for the identification, assessment and management of dysphagia for people with a learning disability.
