Due to severe cold weather hitting the UK, the Met Office have issued a level three alert. There is a 90per cent probability of severe cold weather between 9am on Saturday 06 February until 9pm on Wednesday 10 February 2021 in North West England.
Met office have stated it will become colder over the weekend with wintry showers - risk of ice and snow. Very cold into next week.
On receipt of a Met Office Level three cold weather alert, all staff need to ensure that they review and action the severe weather action card. Further information is also available on the severe weather planning page on StaffZone.
