Across Wigan Borough, there are a large number of services and teams offering different levels and intensity of support to meet the wide range of mental health and wellbeing needs of our local population.
With the transfer of services from North West Boroughs Healthcare to Greater Manchester Mental Health next year and experiences and learning from the Covid-19 pandemic, the Healthier Wigan Partnership is taking the opportunity to carry out some engagement work to better understand what we are currently doing and think about what we want it to look like in the future.
These conversations are starting with you!
Hearing your experiences and expertise is absolutely key in this so we’re asking staff from across health, care, social care, community groups, schools and police who provide any level of mental health and wellbeing support to residents, to tell us about your service.
We want to hear:
- what you feel works well
- if and how could things be better
- if there are any unmet needs

Survey
To make sure everyone has an opportunity to contribute to the conversation, there is a short survey to gather your views. This survey will run from Monday 30 November 2020 to Monday 4 January 2021

What’s this being used for?
This will form part of a wider engagement project which is being used to help shape the future of the borough’s mental health and wellbeing offer.
Our aim is that residents receive mental health and wellbeing support that is well invested, coordinated, resourced and sustainable.
