Christine’s colleagues from the Neurodevelopmental Pathway Team shared this message about Christine

“Christine has spent many years working across a number of St Helens children’s services teams, moving to the Trust in September 2016 following the transfer of the 0-19 service from Bridgewater.

Christine’s most recent role was in the neurodevelopmental pathway team, a role that she loved. Whilst in this role she demonstrated compassion, empathy and a listening ear to both parents and other professionals that she worked alongside. Christine was respected by everyone that she came into contact with, and was known to be extremely helpful and supportive to all her colleagues.

Christine was described by her closest team members as “the most beautiful lady we ever met…we giggled a lot when we were together. She was the perfect mix – she had an abundance of sweetness, a bunch full of compassion, topped off with a zest of fun and laughter. Christine was an exceptionally strong, brave and courageous lady. We will all miss Christine. We have lost a loved and valued colleague.”

Our thoughts are with Christine’s family, friends and colleagues at this sad time. Christine’s funeral is being held on 23 December at St Helens Crematorium, and Christine’s family have chosen to remember her with donations to Willowbrook Hospice in St Helens in lieu of flowers.

As a tribute to Christine, we would like to create a book of remembrance. Due to current circumstances, we plan to create this digitally. If you would like to include a message, please send your message to chs.st.helense-brief@nwbh.nhs.uk  You can:
