Mental Health Research Incubator Website

The incubator for mental health research website officially launched on the 25th January 2021 and aims to support mental health professionals explore opportunities in research.  The site provides a guide to different research opportunities, sign-posting to mentoring, internships, funding and training. 

 

Nursing and midwifery research careers advisory service

The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Nursing and Midwifery Incubator, in partnership with the NIHR Research Design Service (RDS), is pleased to announce with the launch a virtual careers advisory service to support nurses and midwifes to start and advance their clinical academic research careers.  The pilot service will run over the next 12 months to learn how best to offer this service and make a decision if it merits national roll out.

The research interest group is an informal networking meeting open to all staff with an interest in research.  Meetings are held quarterly, and will be virtual for the forseeable future. There is also an e-mail group where information on courses and development opportunities are circulated.
